This website is operated by Fancy Metal Goods (referred to as "FMG/Famego/we/our/us"). As user of this website (referred to as "you/your") you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make ("use/using") is subject to our terms and conditions below. You will find our Delivery and Payment Policy below. We would advice you to carefully read through all of these documents, and if anything remains unclear to you, please contact us, either, via email on fancymetalgoods@btconnect.com or Telephone 0121 459 9777.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to withdraw any product from this website at any time, or to edit product prices and/or descriptions.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept a transaction at any time at our sole discretion.
Our Contract with you
The contract that you enter into with Fancy Metal Goods, will not be deemed to have been accepted and completed until your order has been despatched. Should we be unable to despatch the order, we will notify you via email or telephone to inform you of this.
Non acceptance of an order may be due to one of the following:
The item you have chosen being discontinued by the manufacturer
A pricing error having occurred
Your payment to us being rejected by your card company. Should this happen, we will not be liable for any delay.
Prices
All prices are shown in pounds sterling
All prices shown are inclusive of vat (Trade orders - please see below under Trade Enquiries). The total cost of your order is the unit price shown (multiplied by the quantity if applicable).
Postage is included in the price for all UK mainland addresses. For delivery to Northern Ireland , Isle of Man , Isle of Wight , Scottish Islands and the Channel Islands , along with all other countries, Postage will be charged at the current, most cost effective rate available. See section on Delivery.
We reserve the right to make changes to the prices shown on our web site, without prior notification.
Trade Enquiries (Company enquiries)
We will consider discounted prices for orders of large volume, and these prices will then be subject to vat at 17.5%.with agreed payment terms, usually, payment against a pro-forma invoice for the first order.
Payment
We take payment from your card, only after we have obtained these details from you over the telephone and when we have verified that we have your complete order in stock and it is ready to be despatched to you. For orders of more than one item, and where one or a number of items are currently out of stock, we will contact you by email or telephone in order for you to make a decision as to whether you wish to wait for your complete order to be ready for despatch, or whether you would like us to despatch the items individually. If the latter option is chosen, payment will only be taken on each item as they are ready to be posted out to you. Your card details will be held until we have confirmation from our bank that payment has been transferred .We will then destroy all card details held.
We will contact you to confirm the cost of Postage prior to taking payment. (This is for non UK mainland residents only) UK mainland residents will not incur Postage costs.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, typing errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a complete refund.
Delivery
It may be advisable to give a work address or the address of a friend or relative, if you are out at work most of the day. We always use third party carriers (this means that your goods will be delivered by another company, instructed by Fancy Metal Goods to deliver, on their behalf). These companies usually require a signature to acknowledge receipt. If no one is available to receive delivery, the driver will leave a card to say that he has called. It is advisable to call the depot to rearrange delivery, although the driver will usually make a second attempt the following day. Should they be unable to deliver, we will have to charge you for a third delivery.
Postage is included in the price for all UK mainland addresses. For delivery to Southern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and the Channel Islands, along with all other countries, Postage will be charged at the current, most cost effective rate available.
Your order will be dispatched within 7-10 working days. Should any item be out of stock, we will send an email to you, letting you know when it will become available.
Should you require a speedier delivery time, please call on the telephone number below. We will do our very best to accommodate you.
If you change your mind, as long as your order has not been despatched, just call us on 0121 459 9777 to cancel the order.
Import duties and Taxes
When ordering goods for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches its destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Fancy Metal Goods does not have any control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs charges vary widely from country to country. We would advice you to contact your local customs office, prior to placing an order. Please also be aware that cross border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Returns Policy
Should you wish to return your goods because they are damaged or incorrect, or if you are dissatisfied in any way, please inform us within 48 hours, either via fax, letter or email, and we will be happy to refund you. Damaged or incorrect goods will be collected at our expense, but unfortunately, goods being returned due to dissatisfaction, will be at the buyers expense. Any money that you have paid will be refunded within 14 working days as long as the goods are returned in the same conditions and with the same or similar packaging that they were delivered in.
Please note that all returned goods must be in their original undamaged packaging, then packaged in robust, clearly labelled packing, similar the sort your goods arrived in. All goods must be returned by recorded delivery. This will give you proof of delivery and also requires a signature on receipt. |
